There are good waitresses, there are great waitresses, and then there is Amy.
My family and I come here multiple times a week, and while the food is absolutely incredible, the real reason we keep coming back is Amy. She has practically become family to us. She is one of the hardest-working, kindest, and most genuinely wonderful people we have ever met.
Amy remembers our orders by heart. Not only that, she remembers our loyalty number. Every single time. We don't even have to think about it because she already knows. Her attention to detail, warmth, and consistency are honestly unmatched. There have been times we've come in just to see Amy—even when we weren't hungry! And if my family goes without me and gets to see her first, I'm completely gutted. That's how much we adore her.
Now, let's talk about the food. It is phenomenal. The quality is obvious from the first bite, and knowing the meat is sourced from Allen Brothers (the same source used by Halls Chophouse) makes perfect sense because everything is top-notch.
Current favorites include the ribs, Chicken Milanese, Southwest Salad, the Short Rib Grilled Cheese on challah (which is absolutely life-changing), and the Chocolate Budino. Every dish is consistently delicious and keeps us coming back for more.
One small request: please bring back the Kahlúa S'mores dessert! We still talk about it and miss it dearly.
But as amazing as the food is, Amy remains the heart and soul of this place. Exceptional service is rare, and she delivers it every single visit with grace, kindness, and genuine care. She deserves all the recognition in the world and then some. Whatever you’re paying her— quadruple it!!
Thank you, Amy, for making every visit feel special. We adore you!

Five-star experience! Our server, Jennifer, was wonderful and made the meal even better.
I highly recommend the General Tso Bowl, and the house salad with steak was another winner.

I can't even count the number of times I've eaten at Burton's, and I've never had a bad meal. It is consistently good, safe for celiacs, and has choices I cannot find elsewhere. A gluten free fried haddock sandwich with gluten free onion rings? Yes, please! Grilled shrimp, fried green tomatoes, she crab soup, crab cakes, steak, cake, key lime pie? All, gluten free? All, yes. Charleston has great food, but I find myself at Burton's more than anywhere else for quality, consistency, and variety. Yes, it's a franchise chain, and I wish there was one in every city.

Dining at Burton’s Bar & Grill during our trip to Isle of Palms for my husband’s birthday was truly an elevated experience. Despite our beach attire, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. Jenn, our server, was exceptional from start to finish.
The food exceeded expectations! My maple sriracha wings were incredible, and my husband enjoyed every bite of his classic burger. The buffalo dip was flavorful without being too spicy, perfect for sharing with our toddler. Even the kids’ meal was impressively generous and well worth it.
We’re already looking forward to coming back again, SOON!

Absolutely delicious! Excellent service and a wonderful time. Thank you Caden (I hope I have that right!) you were a delight. My daughter and I had lunch Wednesday 5.13.26. Thank you staff! It takes a true team. The hostess was lovely and everyone was hustling, y’all were very busy! I’m a local and we will be back!

Had the gluten free prime burger and substituted the fries for house salad. Burger was cooked medium well like I asked and the caramelized onion and bacon were cooked to perfection. House salad was great side item. The wait was about 10 minutes but the place was really loud and busy.

We stopped in for an early supper and we're pleasantly surprised. Our waitress was Kadin and she was superb! She recommended some of the special bar/happy hour specials for appetizers and made great dinner entree suggestions. The steak and chicken kabobs were excellent. Then we had the Shrimp with Andoule sausage and pasta which was very tasty. Our other dish was the Papparadale with Bolognese sauce which was also very good. We will definitely return when in Mt Pleasant! Great service and food!
